| Top Womens Squash player trains with MotionPro |
 |
Vicky Botwright, present world ranking 14, is training at
the English Institute of Sport,
with the help of two MotionPro
systems, recently
installed by Lake Image Systems to aid the analysis of
her performance.
"Having these cameras provides high quality instant
visual feedback for performance evaluation, and
subsequent improvement. Recording at 250 and 500 fps
enables detailed analysis never before achievable"
says Stafford Murray, Head Performance Analyst
The cameras are used to capture the athlete in action,
together with data from pressure plates. This
information can then be analysed to help achieve
optimum performance, and perfect timing.

| Lake Image Systems provides slow motion footage for BBC2 & Channel 4 |
 |
Lake Image Systems has provided footage from
RedLake
cameras for BBC2's Science Shack and Channel
4's Cricket coverage.
Channel 4's Cricket Highlights last Saturday
evening included a high speed sequence shot during the
exciting first day action of the 4th Test between
England and South Africa at Headingley. The
HG-100K was positioned at the boundary, and
focussed on the action
of the bowlers and batsmen. This is the first time such
slow motion has been used in competitive sports events.
Adam Hart-Davies' Science Shack requested
high quality, high speed footage of a locusts' jumping
technique. Results from the
MotionPro
can be seen during the programme, being shown on
BBC2 on Thursday 4th September at 7:30 pm.

The
HG-100K can provide broadcast
quality images
at up to 3000 frames per second, in high quality
colour.
