At PAKEX Eire 2006, Lake Image Systems will
be
launching new High Speed Camera Systems that add
to an already impressive flexible line up.
The Fastec TroubleShooter LE is a low cost,
portable, high speed camera, capable of up to 500
frames per second, with built in rechargeable battery
pack, Compact Flash card slot for image download,
and a USB-2.0 port for additional laptop control.
This model also has a built in digital 5” Display for
image viewing live and recorded images. Available in
both colour and monochrome, this is a truly low cost
flexible option.

The Fastec Inline High Speed Camera is a
gigabit
Ethernet controlled camera, capable of recording
speeds of up to 1000 frames per second.
With multiple mounting options for fitting in tight
spaces, auto download and auto reset, this camera
can capture thousands of images and download to a
host pc, highlighting production line faults, with
no
need for operator intervention.

| Fastec InLine Monitoring System |

The Fastec InLine Monitoring System (FIMS)
is a
unique high-speed event capture and analysis
system for production and packaging
environments.
Using advanced Fastec InLine high-speed digital
cameras, the FIMS system captures line stoppages
and automatically stores the high-speed images for
analysis. The system is fully automatic, so the line
operator can focus on clearing the stoppage and not
worry about the camera.
The key features of the basic system include:
- Event-based triggering
- Automatic capture and storage of high-speed
digital images
- Automatic reset
- File creation time and date stamp
- Numbered file name to track events
- Ability to store unlimited events for later viewing
- Ability to review a saved event while in record
mode
With the option of data acquisition software, FIMS
can also capture display external sensor data.
Information such as line speed, pressure, voltage,
temperature, PLC output, etc. is automatically
captured and downloaded and fully synchronized to
the video images. Up to 64 external inputs can be
simultaneously monitored, captured and displayed
with the digital video.
