Software Development Engineer for the Win 32 platform

Lake Image Systems leads the field in the design, development and manufacture of vision systems for the printing industry.

Our industry is experiencing massive worldwide growth, and with an excellent reputation in both Europe and the US we are looking to take our technology to the global market.

To fulfil the potential we undoubtedly have, we need to enhance our S/W development team with the addition of 2 new UK based engineers.

The ideal candidates will have at least 1 year or more proven experience in C++ and object oriented design, for vision related applications on the Win32 platform. Flexibility, with good communication skills will be necessary, with the ability to work to tight timescales within a small but committed and dedicated team.

Essential:
	Development experience using Microsoft Visual C++/MFC or Borland C++ Builder.
	Application development in a multithreaded environment.
	Using DLLs and ActiveX components.
	Object-oriented analysis and design methodologies (OOD/OOA).

Advantages:
	Developed components according to Microsoft's Component Object Model (COM/DCOM/ActiveX).
	Database interfacing using ADO/ODBC interfaces.
	Image processing experience in character recognition and symbologies.
	Real-time software development.
	Network communication.
	Project management experience from design through to commercialisation.
