The MotionPro Y-5 is the new flagship camera from IDT Redlake. The 4 Megapixel sensor frames at up to 950fps at the full resolution and higher framing rates at reduced heights.

For those of you in television or media, restricting the sensor to 1080P resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) allows framing rates up to 1,500 frames per second, for dramatic ultra slow motion in HD for sports, wildlife and other subjects.

IDT, the manufacturers of the MotionPro X and Y-series cameras, have recently taken control of all of Redlakes international manufacturing and marketing activities. The Y-5 is the exciting start to this new structure, which has also resulted in price reductions of the existing Redlake product range, including the MotionPro X-series and the MotionXtra HG-series cameras.
