The HG-series of cameras (HG-100K, HG-LE, HG-TH and HG-SE) are a range of ruggedised cameras designed for the automotive industry (VIT), which can be incorporated into mixed networks to handle complex testing environments.

Compatibility with legacy cameras from Roper Scientific and Kodak (HG2000, HG-TX, CR2000) have added to the success of this range.

HG-100K

The HG-100K offers a compact all-in-one camera head, imaging at up to an impressive 1504 x 1128 pixels (all active – no interpolation) at up to 1000 frames per second. By reducing the active area of the sensor, higher framing rates can be achieved, up to a top rate of 100,000 frames per second.

Building on the success of the HG2000, the HG-100K is set to be a world leading camera in the VIT (Vehicle Impact Testing) market. The camera incorporates a high speed 1GHz Ethernet, offering the most stable, fastest way of networking large numbers over a large distance together, enabling all to be synchronised together, using standard LAN communication technology. Other improvements include a backup battery for preserving captured images, a 5ms global shutter to eliminate motion blur and high light sensitivity.
