With three different Lightning models available - offering recording speeds up to 1000, 2000 and 16,000 frames per second - users can choose the exact system for current and applications, and easily upgrade later as needs change. The state-of-the-art CMOS sensor provides full frame resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels at 500 frames per second in either colour or monochrome. Up to four Lightning systems can be operated from a single PC for multiple synchronous views of a high-speed event.

Long record times are available due to the 4Gb standard memory, expandable to 12Gb, enabling up to nearly 20 seconds record time at full speed and full resolution.

Supplied with MiDAS 2.0 software, the Lightning RDT is very versatile, having facilities like autodownload and segmented memory for the recording of multiple events.
